Government Tells Lies Over Kyoto Liability

We understand that there was a big fight over exactly this point at the Climate Change Leadership Forum. According to our farming sector sources, a farming leader really took the officials to task on this. There was eventually an acceptance that the cost of a unit would be minimum of $50 per unit not $25 as appears in all the Treasury propaganda. When asked why the Government was not using a minimum $50 assumption the officials advised that Minister Parker did not want this true figure released!!! We are shocked that the 2008 PREFU is continuing this deceit.
