Now we know why the Government was so keen to pass their nasty socialist legislation which gives Regional Councils control over the way the private sector bus operations. It is becasue they don't like the private sector. This is what Mallard had to say:

The company concerned is owned by Intratil a highly respected and responsible pillar of the Wellington establishment. Mallard is a disgrace.
