Feds Argue For Clifford Bay

In their submission on the Draft Coastal Shipping Strategy, Federated Farmers have thrown their weight behind the idea of dusting of plans to build a new port at Clifford Bay. The Hive agrees. The development of Clifford Bay is long overdue. It would achieve an enormous productivity gain using existing ships. But it would also allow the re-introduction of fast ferries. Why has Wellington business not been championing this move more strongly?
