It seems that we will now have to wait until next Tuesday for the final vote on the Electoral Finance Bill. Last night a deal seemed to have been done which would see Parliament wind up this week[Update - there may have been no deal - see Kiwiblog]. Is it really because National has asked too many questions, or is it because of NZ First getting cold feet - see post earlier today?
