Wanganui Collegiate Student World's Best School Debater

Stephen Franks has a trubute to Bill English's daughter Maria up on his site. She and colleagues did very well in coming runner up in the World Schools' Debating Championships. David Farrar has been covering these champs including (news just up) the subject matter of this post. But real praise should be going to Wanganui Collegiate student Jennifer Savage who has been declared the best school debater in the world. Great to see this making page 3 of the Dominion Post.
