Tide For Change
One of the real positives of yesterday's vote in the US was its decisiveness. It was a clean win, there will be no uncertainty out there now over who will form the next Government. Financial markets will like that certainty. Lets hope we get a similarly clean result here. The last thing we need is a prolonged period of uncertainty as small parties try and decide who they will make the next Government here. There is now more demand for capital than capital available in international financial markets. We need to think hard about the image we present to the world. Investors don't mind change, but they don't like uncertainty. The last thing we need right now is uncertainty. We will certainly be bearing this thought in the front of our minds as we stand in line to vote on Saturday.
