PM Loses Credibility
In her post Cabinet press conference yesterday the PM tried to suggest that there was a difference between NZ First and Winston Peters when it comes to the filing of funding returns. yes, in law she is right. But does she not recall that the NZ First return was filed late because of the need to consult Winston Peters who was offshore? Does she not notice NZ First Presidents noting that they don't have a clue about how finances are arranged? It is a great shame that a great Prime Minister is going to be remembered for her attempts to cover for a coalition partner that has for years been less than upfront as to where its money comes from. Why she did not cut ties ages ago remains a mystery? Was it to get some laws passed? Is it because she still dreams of a grand coalition including NZ First post election? Or does Winston have something on her?
