The NZ Herald is reporting that the PM may be called to give evidence to the Privileges Committee. There is no "may" about it. She and Trevor Mallard have to be called. They are key witnesses. They may have been the people who confirmed to Winston that the donation had been made. Winston denies knowing about the donation and misleading Parliament and making false declarations.
The PM and Mallard also need to advise why the Cabinet office and Parliamentary Services were not advised of a possible conflict (Glenn's honorary consulship) and possible false declaration by NZ First? As the PM and a Cabinet Minister they are obliged to take such action.
