Keeping Stock has posted some important questions about the Baygate scandal this morning, including one about how Hausmann is so confident that tomorrow's report will vindicate him. Keeping Stock would be asking even more questions if he had read the Sunday Star Times. On page A3 Ruth Laugesen reports Annette King saying "she and her husband Ray Lind will be cleared of wrong doing" by tomorrow's report.
How does she know this? And why have there been such radical changes to this report between first draft and te final version? This is a very bad look. All the major characters talking in advance with great confidence about being vindicated.
There is a smaller item in the SST noting that two members of the sacked DHB Board have asked the police to investigate the conflict of interest case because tomorrow's report has been "hijacked for political expediency".
