50.3% Of Public Servants No Have 5 Weeks Annual Leave

The Independent Financial Review has a front page article on leave inflation. When Government introduced the complulsory 4 weeks leave provision employers were assured that this would not see those already on 4 weeks leave moving to 5 weeks leave. Now it turns out Government is a pretty poor role model for the rest of the economy. 50.3% of permanent full-time staff in the public service now have 25 days leave. Good journalism. Bad Government.
