One of the lessons from Iowa was that the Reuters/C-Span/Zogby tracking poll is pretty good.
So what does this poll say today about the race in New Hampshire.
For the Democrats:
Clinton 34%
Obama 26%
Edwards 20%
For the Republicans:
McCain 32%
Romney 30%
Huckabee 10%
Good news for Clinton and McCain? Yes, but this poll, while up to date (it includes responses taken while Iowa was voting), will not have any reflection of the Iowa effect. New Hampshire Republicans and Democrats will now be reflecting on the Iowa result. It might cause them to change positions. Who knows, the average New Hampshire resident is pretty independent in thinking so it might have only limited impact.
