We have not forgotten the fate of the jailed Saudi blogger. However, the New Zealand Government still does not appear to have done anything to support his release (in sharp contrast to the US Government). We have today checked all the websites we could think of - but still no statements............
A number of comments on other blogs talk about the possibility of there being no one at work to write the required statements and instructions messages to our Embassy in Saudi. Rubbish. Have a look at the statements made on Pakistan and Kenya. MFAT never sleeps.
