Not that much has emerged from the meeting of Trade Ministers taking place in the margins of the Bali climate change conference. New Zealand's Trade Minister Phil Goff was there. One report suggests that the meeting degenerated once more into a North South divide over the liberalisation of trade in environmentally friendly goods and services. This is a shame as we all know that technology will have a major role in solving this global problem.
