Mallard Preparing To Exit Politics?

John Armstrong has an interesting analysis in today's NZ Herald. He concludes by noting that Mallard's behavior is suggestive of someone preparing for a change in career. Both Armstrong today and Audrey Young yesterday call for an apology from Mallard to Erin Leigh. We agree that such an apology is essential but also think that he should be apologising also to Parliament for misleading it, and in accordance with the fine Westminister tradition he should then tender his resignation as a Minister.
