James Weir of the Dominion Post continues his excellent coverage of the New Zealand electricity situation with more bad news. The southern hydro lakes still don't have enough water, and unless we have major rain down there in the next few days, saving measures are going to be essential. Business New Zealand last Friday advised affiliates to start thinking about savings, the we believe that Government should be equally proactive. Why they are choosing not to do more is curious.
