NZAID's Don Clarke seems to be admitting to Trevor Louden that NZCID is prepared to spend NZAID monies to support revolutionaries in friendly countries. This lack of control of Government funds is deeply concerning, as is the message it sends to our diplomatic allies. NZAID, supporter of world revolution ??
We think this raises big questions about the administration of NZAID. We also remain concerned that the Opposition seems to be ignoring the use of NZAID monies to undermine New Zealand's wider trade and political relationships.
