Has Parker Finally Done His Chips?

Yet more scandal is swarming around embattled Climate Change Minister David Parker. The latest is in the Herald on Sunday. Another Minister appearing in court will not look good. More worrying is the Parker denial that he intervened in the way that Hemmingway is claiming. If Parker is forced to rescind or apologise for this denial he will almost certainly have to go. The question now for Helen is whether to allow him to hang on for a few more weeks and keep losing votes, or to lance the boil immediately. The news is so bad for the PM on all fronts she might be forced to reach for the scalpel.
