Electoral Implications Of Economic Slowdown

John Armstrong explores the implications in today's NZ Herald. The Hive sees these implications as very significant. We don't want to be too gloomy, but the economy is going to much more challenging, and the lot of the average New Zealander much grimmer, than Helen and her team were predicting when they went away for their summer breaks. What is worse is that much of the problem on the high interest rates/ high inflation front is their fault. How will they be responding? Will they really be wanting to make things even worse by proceeding to increase costs further to lead thee world in combating climate change?
