Will this be Winston's price for supporting Labour post election? I want to PM Peters?
This is a prospect analysed by Fran O'Sullivan in today's NZ Herald. She rightly concludes that Winston is going to find it really hard to work with National, a National Party that is getting increasingly willing to call Winston to order (Bill English told a business lunch Thursday that National will not will not buy into Labour's "what Winston wants Winston gets" approach - the answer was bad news for those in MFAT who might be dreaming that their extra monies are going to survive a change in Government).
Regardless of Helen's view on this we can't see the Greens or Maori Party agreeing to prop up a Winston Peter's led Government so we think the question (luckily) to be largely academic.
