UNEP Wanting To Stay Clear Of NZ Politics

Just heard the head of the UN Environment Programme on the radio. He is not wanting to talk about the ETS because of the NZ election campaign. A pity he is holding world environment day here in new Zealand so close to the election as it is being used for two purposes -Firstly to boost the Government's environmental credentials in an attempt to take votes back from the Greens. It is also designed to make Helen look good. We hope this fellow is careful what he eats while he is here - we know someone who might be wanting his job.......
