Did Hillary Clinton Suffer As a Result Of Sexist Coverage By Some In The Media?

This is a hot topic of debate in the US right now. The consensus seems to be that there was some sexist coverage but this was not a major reason for failure. The New York Times takes a good look at the issue. It does seem to The Hive that Senator Clinton (who we don't have much time for by the way) did experience a much harsher treatment from some in the media than would be considered acceptable in New Zealand.
