Nats Not About To Do A Deal With Labour On EMS

In response to our post on Friday on the NBR's front page article that suggested that the National and Labour Parties were in high level negotiations on a deal over the emissions trading scheme we have been advised authoritatively from the National side that "this is complete crap". The reason why Minister Parker was unable to confirm or deny anything on the Government side (for the NBR) is that he literally doesn't have a clue what Government policy on climate change is anymore. It is now being run from Level 9 and he is not part of the decision making process.
