Those wanting to know what went on should read Fran O'Sullivan's account in today's NZ Herald (slighly cheesy title Fran).
The coverage of the food supply/ security issue is particularly interesting
"How is it possible for Japan - perhaps the wealthiest and most sophisticated food market in the world - to run out of butter in its supermarkets?"
The proposals for cooperation on forestry and electric cars also look interesting. It would be good if Japan and NZ can work together to get more sensible rules agreed on pre-1990 forests in the UN negotiations.
