Labour won last election because it did disproportionately well in Wellington and South Auckland.
This election Labour has lost Wellington (the public servants are rebelling against the politicisation they have seen - there will be voting for Labour candidates but the Party vote is strongly National), but what about South Auckland? Are Labour vulnerable? Why was Mike Williams in Australia when he should have been out there feeding out KFC?
The soon to be re-named Kiwiradio's Morning Report had an interesting item on how a range of parties are making inroads into South Auckland as Labour has not been doing the work there this time around. And Colin Espiner has written this piece on how National is seeking to raid votes in South Auckland also. This is going to be a very interesting result area on Saturday night.
