Having studied Section 216 of the Electoral Act 1993 overnight we pose the following question:
Is it an offence for a senior politician to, during the formal election campaign, walk out the backof a Wellington restaurant, have a talk to the two 18 year old school students washing plates and glasses, and give one of the 18 year old school students $100 "for his future"?
