Georgia: Fighting Continues

Fighting continues in Georgia with concern mouting about what is going on now in Abkhazia, the second break away province. 4,000 Russian troops have reportedly been landed in the provincial capital.

This update is from CNN.

President Bush is calling the continuing Russian violence unacceptable (we agree).

Meanwhile Russian imperialism is driving up the price of oil - just what the world economy doesn't need. Thanks Vladimir and Dmitri!

Meanwhile we still can't find a New Zealand statement. Does this mean we don't care about what is going on? Do we condone what is going on? Why the silence? Or have we missed something?
