Kiss Goodbye To Regional Fuel Taxes

One of the big announcements from last year's budget was regional fuel taxes. These were going to be allowed to help pay for increased investment in road and public transport initiatives. It looks as though these are now off the agenda - for the next year or so anyway. This is a pity as it will slow the pace of this essential investment. This in turn will impact on potential productivity growth improvement.
