Rongotai And Wellington Central Nominations Being Sought

The Dom Post is carrying small notices from the National Party calling for nominations for Wellington Central and Rongotai. Wellington Central is a real possibility for National but Rongotai will be difficult, particularly after the boundary changes. The Hive understands that Labour is in trouble in Wellington with a major swing against the Government showing up in internal party polling. One business group which all polls on public opinion is also talking of a major shift. On the other hand Labour's candidate for wellington Central Grant Robertson is very good, and Annette King in Rongotai is one of the Government's most steady performers.
