Green Co-Leader Russel Norman has moved quickly to contradict comments made on radio this morning that the Greens and Maori had agreed not to stand candidates against each other. It would seem that Dr Norman doesn't believe that talks are as advanced as Hone Harawira suggested on Morning Report.
The Hive is not surprised about these differences. We don't see these parties as natural allies. Their conservation agendas might be the same but they seem to have very different ideas on the economy. They also differed markedly on the Electoral Finance Act.
