We were pleased that a sensible plan has been put together for Auckland's future. And it was not surprising to hear that idiot Mayor from North Shore and his counterpart from Manukau criticising it, turkeys don't often vote for an early Christmas. We realise that many Mayors and councillors and executives will lose their salaries, but change is inevitable fellows. Stop the selfish parochialism and do what is right for Auckland and New Zealand.
