Thanks Kevin. Rudd has just ensured that New Zealand's trade advantage in China will last longer than we were previously expecting. There are ways of delivering messages to China and Rudd should have known better. We sometimes cringe when listening to the NZ media on NZ's place in the world but some of the comments made last night by the Aussie media on Rudd and his supposed superstar status in China really take the cake. What really angered us was the comment that Rudd was the first world leader to visit China since the Tiber problems. Clearly the leaders of New Zealand and Chile don't count.
