China FTA "Very Good"

So reports Colin James in today's NZ Herald. It sounds as though he has been talking to Tim Groser. A pity he did not ask Groser about his comments on CER. James cites the apple problem with Australia as an example of FTAs not being able to solve all problems. The problem Colin is that CER does not contain provisions on Sanitary or Phytosanitary issues, so apples were not covered. this is why we have had to rely on the WTO. It will be interesting to see how the China FTA covers these issues. Next time you talk to Tim, Colin, would you mind asking?
