This blog was dedicated to the monitoring of latest developments in Central, Regional and Local politics from its base in New Zealand's capital city, Wellington. The blog was run by a team with unique insights into latest developments. The Hive was not politically aligned, but did support policy that was best for the growth of business and the economy. Given the obvious interest from our readership The Hive from time to time delved into the politics of other countries or regions.

Let Them Pay
We don't tink the New Zealand tax payer should be fully responsible for the $1million plus repair bill for the sabotage that occured at Waihopai earlier in the week. We hope the courts throw the book at the three concerned and make them pay. Confiscate all assets and family assets if they can't pay. And maybe the Catholic Church would like to make a donation...And at the same the people responsible for security at Waihopai should be fired. Ultimately the Minister is responsible. Who is the Minister responsible for the GCSB? Should they resign?
